Judo EM U23 2011 Bronze for Breitbarth PDF Print E-mail
SFV Europa Judoka Breitbarth won Bronze at the Judo EM in the age group under 23 years in Tjumen, West Siberia.
After his title in 2010 he now won third place after four engaged and technically versatile matches -Congratulations!

Gold won Jan van der Vorst, Leon Vollrath and Björn Krok, Silver went to Marek Schulze, Moritz Sinning and Deborah Jäger, Timo Sixt won the Bronze medal. Congratulations!

Local Championships für Lions Cubs: 4 x Gold and 2 x Bronze for SFV Europa PDF Print E-mail
Short notice: The Lions Cubs of the SFV Europa won four times Gold and two times Bronze at the local championships in Isenbüttel in November 2011: Tarek Scharifi, Lars Geiger, Chiara Sixt und Tim Fröhlich won Gold, Bronze went to Sinan Baikal and Timon Scharifi. Kenan Baikal placed forth. Congratulations!
 
LMM 2011: SFV Europa Vice Champion u17 PDF Print E-mail
The LMM u17 started on sunday, the 9th of OCtober 2011. The Team  SFV Europa/MTV Vorsfelde won against KG TuS Jork/TVG Drochtersen 7:0, winning with Marek Schulze, Timo Sixt, Alexander Sehrt, Sven Gärtner, Robin Sixt, Julian Schade (alle SFV Europa) and Mark Fitzlaff (MTV Vorsfelde). They lost against Judo-Crocodiles Hildesheim afterwards, but won against Nienhagen 4:2. Then they won in Semifinal against the Judo-Team Hannover, thus going against Judo-Crocodiles Hildesheim again in the final. They lost 2:4 after engaged fighting and thus won the titel of Vice Champion 2011. Thus the Judoka des SFV Europa/MTV Vorsfelde are qualified for the Northern Regional Champoinships at the end of November. Members of the winning team were: Marek Schulze, Timo Sixt, Alexander Sehrt, Frederik Jäde, Sven Gärtner, Robin Sixt, Marcel Schmidt, Jan Reisner, Julian Schade, Björn Krok und Mark-Alexander Fitzlaff, supported by Roberto di Gioa. Congratulations!

Summercamp 2011: Legends, heroes, fairy tales PDF Print E-mail
Summercamp 2011 was themed "Legends, heroes,  fairy tales" this time for 40 judo interested kids from lower saxony. They made up their own heroes and these had to go on adventures together with the other invented heroes in the camp. Fun swimming, canoeing, climbing and watching theater plays and movies connected to the theme completed the actions. Of course, judo was part of the camp every day in morning training sessions, kyu examinations inclusive. In the evening disco, night games, soccer and orienteering races were the fun part of the program as well as story telling hours and campfire stories with marshmellows an bread on a stick - "make your own" - into the bargain. Thus many participants vowed "we will be back next year again".
 
Winning Leonide 2010: Karina Zabbarov PDF Print E-mail
This years Leoniade was won by Karina Zabbarov, Lars Geiger came in second. The torurnament was held in public at the Schloss Arkaden Braunschweig on Saturday, the 5th of June 2010. The pround winners were awarded their medals by Andre Beitbarth, the Bronze Medal Winner 2010 od the World Junior Championships, and by Dr. Burmeister from the Niedersächsische Lotto Sport Stiftung, who is currently supporting the award winning Concept of the SFV Europa for new talents.

Judo Summer Camp 2009 PDF Print E-mail

Over 65 particpants met in the first 10 days of summer vacation following an old and good tradition. In the morning hours they practced their judo togehter and in the afternoons they worked on this years main topic "Moving music!" putting together a show for their friends and families. They worked songs out composing and texting new lines, making instruments and styling outfits for their show. They also had lot of holiday fun conoeing, swimming, having discoactivities and playing games even in the night hours. A visit to the famous zoo of Hannover was this years additional trip. Trip to Scharbeutz 2009 PDF Print E-mail
26 young Judolions spent their vacation time on a trip to Scharbeutz at the Baltic Sea from the 21rst to the 24rth of May 2009. By train they reached their destination and spent some nice and sunny days at the beach. In addition they visited the spa "Ostseetherme" and "Seaworld" on their first day in Timmendorf. Trampoline, Soccer with "Norbert" the ball and lots of fun in the water

Leoniade 2009: Judolions are Songsmiths PDF Print E-mail

Our Judolions showed their talents at the SFV Europa LEoniade Song Contest 2009 and many of the young judoka proved to be gifted songsmiths. Chiaras "Courage Song" won the contest followed closely by Danielas "Tournament Rap" and the song displayed by "Kais cool boys".
